WHO WE ARE Founded in
2012, ECOMAT is
an international renewable-energy group, currently with direct
presence in Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
Our name stands for
Ecological Materials and it embodies our vision of a sustainable
world. We have a
strong Swiss heritage, as both our founders are from Geneva with
substantial
international exposure. Our Swiss genes give us our pragmatic
and
straightforward approach to business, as well as a long-term
view and a strong commitment
to quality.
WHAT WE DO
OUR CORE BUSINESS: SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV)
POWER GENERATION
Operating as an independent power producer
(IPP), we either build or commission photovoltaic solar power
plants, which we subsequently operate on a long-term
basis.
We take a durable and
sustainable approach to installations,
as it is our conviction that, in the long run, the world will
need more clean
electricity and hence power-producing assets will become
increasingly valuable.
Currently, we own
and operate four plants running in Switzerland and one in the
UAE, which have
enabled us to be profitable every year since our inception.
WHERE WE WORK
We have worked
extensively on project
development pipe in Potugal, Turkey, Kosovo, the UAE, Kuwait,
Bahrein,
Egypt, Thailand, Australia, Tanzania and South Africa. We are constantly
studying developments in new markets, especially in developing
countries. We have
established
privileged relationships with key suppliers in the sector,
including
manufacturers of tier-one PV solar panels, reliable inverters
and efficient
mounting structures. In all our
markets, we continually enrich our network of building owners,
corporate power
users, utility and electricity grid companies, construction
companies, local
components sourcing and so on. HOW WE CAN
